$17 for a salad that would have cost $1 to make, dry sushi and the old fella on the counter needs some customer service lessons. Nothing paradise-like going on here.

Food was dry, tasteless and overcooked, very average and probably some of the worst Japanese food I’ve had. Considering all the great options around Taupo I guess the only reason these guys are still around is their location

If you like being served two minute noodles as Ramen then this is the place for you. How this place rates over 3 stars is beggars belief. Best to avoid.

Great food. Food is authentic & true of Japanese cuisine with some q Very hospitable owners. Unfortunately it's tug away but that creates a cozy ambience for a pleasant environment to dine in. Great value for money.

Sushi Paradise is absolutely one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Taupo, NZ. After sightseeing, my friend and I stopped in for a quick dinner. The food was amazing. I would definitely come back when I get the chance to.

He has now overcharged me each visit by $100 on a paywave purchase. Both purchases were around $30 but ended up being $130! As he never offered a receipt I only caught site as it popped up on my phone! Please check your bill before you pay! The first time it happened I thought it was an accident. After the 2nd time I’m not so sure…

I give this place 1 star and possibly 0. We had only sushi (thankfully) which was tasteless, dry and didn't taste fresh. I asked for some ginger to try and give it more flavour, the man rudely gave me a pitiful amount equivalent to half a teaspoon which was broken up into tiny pieces. This was quite easily the worst sushi we have ever eaten. To make the whole experience that much worse the man serving was rude and had poor customer service.

Aaah just sooo soo yummmmy! We went for dinner on a Saturday and we're so satisfied! Delicious food and happy lovely owners! We ate and then ordered a whole round of seconds between the four of us! The Crunch Roll is a must! And wash it all down with Asahi & Korean Plum Wine! Mmmhmm! Thanks guys ❤️??
