★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THIs visit was disappointing as the woman said the fish was fresh. It wasn't and was pretty obvious when it was cooking. Was edible but disappointing when they lie so blatantly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These people know their fish! Big pieces of fish and the chips, which are often overlooked, were top notch. The Paua fritters were a classic on a white piece of bread and we had the garlic aioli - amazing. Oh, and not to forget, above all the service was very friendly. Keep up the great work - we’ll definitely be adding this as a stop on upcoming trips.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow, wow! We've tasted some pretty good burgers, but the snapper burgers we just had the delight of devouring beat them all. A generous amount of mouthwatering fresh, succulent snapper, fresh salad and tartaire sauce! This deserves to be made public!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a lil gem to stop off if your heading south. We got the Taraki special. $9.5 The fish was fresh and so juicy. Paua fritter was fantastic and we had raw fish. Was the best we had while in NZ. The owner was so nice he was right on closing time and was happy to serve us. Highly reccomend stop off for feed.
