★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a customer at Trax for years getting breakfast and lunches as I work at Wellington railway station. I've just been in to buy a roast beef sandwich (19 July at 840 am) and when I asked for my efpos receipt as I always do, it was literally thrown at me and the staff were absolutely horrible.
I will never come into this place again to be treated so poorly.

Sadly, the venue has recently been attacked online by cultist conspiracy theorists who, from what I understand from witness accounts and video posted online, were foul-mouthed and abusive to staff and generally causing a scene when they visited. Please ignore those reviews. Trax is an awesome place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ March2021: Fun bar, busy, at the train station.. Last stop before the train, or up to the CakeTin for any function.. Mine was a rugby game. Big variety of cliental passed through while I was there. A Stag party, the oppositions fans, families.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheap eats on menu, but very basic for example cut bread is basic white slices, toasted bread is not buttered on $10 breakfast. Venue is cold and parts of it have a breeze flowing through on Southerly or Northerly days. Customer service could be improved by smiling and being helpful. Would not pay the price for a big breakfast again. The filtered coffee is better than on Air New Zealand, which is a bonus.
