★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are just starting our adventures as we near retirement and are going on our first great walk to the queen charlotte sound so we needed some advise about the type of equipment we would need and as we live in the Waikato we had known about this shop for years We had thought about going to one of the big retailers but so glad we decided to support this small local business
They had a fantastic range and plenty of different sizes in every range Great brands and best part was the staff they obviously love the outdoors they gave us great advise kitted us out with the perfect equipment didn't over sell us made sure that boots etc where perfect let us walk around the streets of Hamilton in them before we brought them we tried different boots and settled on the perfect pair thanks to the advise from staff
I can't recommend this place highly enough probably the best we could have gone 100 percent recommend

Colin is very patient, knowledgeable and shows the old-school going an extra mile professionalism. He’s been running this little shop for 25 years and is a passionate outdoor person himself.
You can barely find this kind of shops where the owner greets you with a honest friendly smile, and can educate you in anything from socks to tents.
