★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolutely stunning coastline, but be prepared to work for it. Steep down, and steep up, but totally worth it. The track is very well maintained, with portaloos at the entrance to the track. Dogs aren't allowed on this track so leave your Good Boy or Good Girl at home. If you take your wee kids, be prepared to hold their hands very tightly as you descend and walk around the cliffs, and also a high chance they'll want you to carry them back up the hill!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful walk, sea lion was asleep at beach down the bottom. Quite a hike on the way back so keep in mind if you have people with limited ability or small children ? not suitable for prams

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a very nice and scenic place just outside Dunedin, towards south.
The access to the beach is via a private property, though it is easy.
The walkway to the beach is downhill and can be slippery on a rainy day.
The views from the top of the cliff are majestic and well enjoyed on a sunny day.
The brown sandstone cliffs make it even more beautiful. Certainly there is a similarity between the Great Ocean Road in Melbourne and this place.
Access to the beach is via a narrow downhill tunnel with narrow steps in it. Caution is required while climbing down, due to dampness.
The views and the rocky beach are worth the effort to climb down and come up.
We also got to see a seal relaxing on the rocks, which was a big bonus. It did feel scary to go such close to it though.
Highly recommended place to spend half a day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A truly amazing piece of coastline and so close to the city of Dunedin. Track is a prolonged walk with fairly steep gradient. The walk is worth the effort for sure

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly hidden gem. Never miss and must visit place. Just 20 min drive from Dunedin city. Get ready for steep walk and climb back. Give about an hour and half. Must walk down the Tunnel and experience huge cliffs and rocks with battering waves.
