β β β β β I've always wanted to walk through a train tunnel and this place gave me exactly that! It's dark, although you can always see at least one end of the tunnel, so it's not too scary. The rails are long gone, so the floor is level enough to not be any trouble, though I am glad I brought a torch.
The signage is obvious and clear.
The walk is only about 2 minutes from the car park.

β β β β β Easy track to a disused tunnel. Tunnel was interesting enough. Watch out for the soft gravel in the carpark. We got our van stuck for a short time.

β β β β β Tunnel Hill is a short walk through a now defunct railway tunnel constructed way back. Bring a torch or headlight, you'll want it. You may want to dress warm as the tunnel drops a few degrees but nothing drastic. Wind was howling away recently but none of it came through the tunnel, to my surprise.

β β β β β It has been a part of an ancient railway. Likely a 50-75m long tunnel. There is parking right in front of the entrance. Would need a light of some sort assist walking. As soon as u reach the end u need to return back as that is what the signs I dictate
