About Turmeric cafe
Centrally located in Scott court shopping centre, Turmeric Cafe offers a comfortable environment for everyone. Come and enjoy our selection of home baked items, panini, salads and soups. Whether you're looking to relax over a cup of coffee or grab a quick bite to go, Turmeric café is for you.
Our mission is to serve the local community by providing the highest-quality coffees, sandwiches, and baked goods in an atmosphere that meets the needs of customers who are in a hurry as well as those who want a place to relax and enjoy their beverages and food.
My story?
For me Hospitality is a lifestyle, and has always been my passion. My experience in this industry has been for more than 15years working for cafes and big chain hotels.
Started up as a barista, I worked hard right from the scratch and gained all the knowledge and took it to the another level. I also trained to be a chef and developed a interest in baking. I become an entrepreneur at my early age of experience and managed to run a café as business with one of the government departments.
Cooking is one of my favourite things to do and using turmeric as a spice to all ethnic food that I cook. I never been sick in the last 12 years in NZ and I tribute it to regular consumption of turmeric.
Hence, I made this concept of having my own café and turmeric as an essence to the menu. I want to pass it on to the community and make them aware about it benefits.

The food it is delicious, I had the French toast and they were so tasty, I also had the Italian style hot chocolate and it is something delightful. Thank you so much! Bonus for being dog friendly!!!!

Food wasn't bad. Toast could have been thicker, I would have preferred a large sausage to two teeny kransky-type things. And being English, if you're going to call it an English breakfast remembered the beans and black pudding ?? But I'm fussy. Great find in Stokes Valley really!
