Tweeters and Friends Pet Shop is your neighborhood Pet Store. Being a family owned pet store in the Manawatu since 2014. Our commitment is to provide the best for your pets/family members
We would like to invite you out to our slice of Paradise. Out of our love for animals Tweeters and Friends was born. Starting point was "Why not a Pet Shop with a homegrown difference". Since then Tweeters and Friends has been growing and expanding into what we have now.
Our Parrot Park is an addition to the store that accentuates our passion for birds. Allowing us to share our love of birds with others .
Along with the Pet shop and the Parrot Park we have our shop aviaries. Which accommodate (seasonal) Budgies, Bourkes, Canarys, Finches, Lorikeets, Lovebirds, Splendids, Turquosines and many other gorgeous Parrots.
We also hand rear birds and Parrots as the breeding season permits, this is done with love and birds are fully hand reared and socialized. Please enquire if its a hand reared pet bird you are looking for.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a $5 entry fee, you are granted access to over 24 aviaries (more aviaries are being built). Some aviaries tell you the birds name, and information of where they came from and their average life span. The bigger birds are the most social and will happily approach you and 'talk'. Overall the tour was a nice experience and will definitely keep your kids entertained.

I bought my beautiful Eclectus parrot Henry through Tweeters.
Superior knowledge and help for a panicky owner like me.
Not an unhappy bird in sight. Love visiting out the back too.
