★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately very bad experience at this Unichem Pharmacy.
I was asked to wait for 15 min for a prescription and then, when was the time up to pick up the prescription, a big surprise arises. A staff member came out with my prescription saying that I cannot be served because there are 2 handwriting on the same prescription. I asked her name and the staff answer was Maria.
I was shocked because never happened before to me something like that, my first intention was to ask for the manager then I realized that the manager was the one who hired a person like this.
When I was looking back going out from the pharmacy, she was behind the counter laughing with another collogue.
My name it is on the database at this Unichem pharmacy, they have the address on the paper and the name of the Doctor and his registered number as a practitioner.
In what kind of world are we living if for a person like this Maria working at this pharmacy a voice over the phone would be enough to release a prescription?
A voice over the phone cannot be fake? I’m asking why she did not want to serve me? May be somebody will take seriously this review. I don’t want to be rude, but I should be served because the prescription was not for a high-risk drugs. However, for me, became clear to never step again in this place.
I went to another pharmacy brand, and they gave me the prescription without any questions whatsoever.
By the way, that Maria took the liberty to write down on my prescription released by a Doctor some sort of observation in her personal way.
Shame on this Unichem Pharmacy in Richmond Mall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was gobsmacked to discover that the prescription I was given on my discharge from hospital cost an extra $3 on each of the 3 medications I was prescribed....but not on the makeup! This is price gouging of the most unethical kind. If we had filled it 1 hr earlier it would not have incurred the cost. Let's be clear here...its not a stat day where a 15% surcharge is added to an 'optional' cup of coffee to help cover wages. This is a chemist, open because the mall requires it and also,to provide prescription/health service to the public. Can this really be allowed?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mask exemptions not welcome here. On entering I was approached by a lady who asked me to leave the store despite having a valid exemption. Went to another pharmacy and was served kindly and without issue. Cold, judgmental and no compassion. Take your money elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After being immediately approached for not wearing a mask I told the staff member I have a medical condition that precludes me wearing a mask. Instead of telling me it's a condition of entry she just grabbed a mask and shoved it in my face. These people have an attitude problem. Mask exemptions are there for a reason. Some people legitimately cannot wear one for various valid reasons, as the government has agreed. It's bad enough being discriminated against for a medical condition, another thing altogether to be treated with such overt contempt.

Young assistant very knowledgeable & helpful with advising best treatment for cycling wound. Pharmacist came to help as wound not pretty. Recommended leuko strips and waterproof bandage. Next minute even offered to apply for me. Blown away. Service at the highest Thanks
