Soft drink is a bit pricey, $4.50 for a normal can of Sprite. Food was a good price.
Again food was delicious!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ severely disappointed. the sancho powder they used was flavourless, their wasabi lacked flavour as well. for $37 I expected their unagi set to be better.the servers weren't any uniforms and the chef wasn't wearing any masks or face covering although he was cooking in an open area.
would not recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered my takeaway meal around 6.50 and i was told they’re super busy so my meal would be ready at 7.30. I arrived ten minutes late and was told another five minutes and I saw a chef rush out of the kitchen to make my meal… there was no one else in the restaurant. The food was ok but a bento box came with minimal food and a side of kiwi fruit? Payed 50+ for a bento box and sushi roll but was worth around $20.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unimpressed with the entire meal. The white fish sashimi had an unpleasant, fishy smell, and there was a scale on the fish. The teriyaki salmon was drenched in sauce with a burnt aftertaste. Rice was overcooked, and the chawanmushi (steamed egg) was cold, but had a lid on it (which makes no sense). I find it difficult to believe this place is authentic Japanese, as the staff and chef both speak in Mandarin. For $63 for 2 people, highly overpriced and not worth your time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were so impressed by UNKAI! Food was authentic and large portioned. Really enjoyed their sashimi and sukiyaki. Prices were reasonable. Services were at a high standard, we felt very welcomed. Will be coming back for sure. Highly recommend to everyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very happy with the food here. Arrived here for lunch about 35 minutes before closing after Daikoku could not accommodate me. Very decent food **** and +1 for a very decent sake menu. They even have Dassai :o.
