★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best place for Peiking Duck north of Auckland. The portion size is generous, the 2nd duck dish (we usually get the bean sprouts) also has a ton of duck meat and the duck meat is crispy and fresh. Prices are very reasonable for the large portions, and the menu has many dishes to choose from. Customer service is also excellent, the owner is friendly and remembers your special requests. The waiting time for food to arrive is also very short. Would definitely recommend :)

So lucky to try the Canton style Claypot rice with pickled sausage AND the mixed vege and pork on steamed rice - think the flatmates will be ordering too next time ? the soup and crusted rice really just add the extra love to it all

The owner called me an hour after my review and explained and apologised and offered a free re-do. I could only imagine the effort that went behind finding our phone number from all those phone orders! You can find good food everywhere, but good local food plus an owner who takes great care of their customers deserves a solid 5 star??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really yummy duck, and it's also very good value as the dishes are large. We ordered the two course Peking duck (so nice & juicy & rich) and we couldn't finish it and we had to bring the rest home. The lady who served us is really helpful explaining everything and has a great sense of humour. All this was a real treat for us. Note there are two different dishes of duck, the one in the photo (yummy duck meat with a yummy sauce) and another one but I forgot to take a photo of it (which is duck on the bone with a different yummy sauce).

Food was ranged from ok to really good (we had ordered around 10 dishes to share). Checkout my pics, the favourites in the order of best taste were (don't recall menu names) the large seafood balls with broccoli, the deep-fried tofu and the duck. The tea was good too. I'm loving the large tables with lazy susan that allow many family and friends to sit and enjoy each other's presence. Staff were helpful but the restaurant looked fairly small.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Me and my friend we have been having meals at here for so long since 2019, and they do really traditional Chinese/Cantonese food here. We’re studying at Massey so it’s like a uni canteen for us. Everything in here is good, recommended, they never have anything we don’t like so far?. And price is pretty reasonable, I reckon it remains the same price as before, appreciate it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled across this place by accident and we are so glad we did! The food is so good and the staff are very friendly! Service is great, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are large. Such a great meal! We had the chicken stir fried noodle and lemon chicken on rice. Both were exceptional. We will definitely be back to try the pekking duck. Everyone but us had duck on their table, so we clearly missed out. Can’t wait to come back and try more.
