★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Facility + Coaches + friendly Members + central Location + varied sessions = all-around excellent!. I was on holiday in Wellington CBD for the week over Christmas - New Years and made it in a handful of times. Great variety of sessions with MetCons, Crossfit WODs, Open Gyms and they even let me in for a row while they were cleaning one day. Add to that an excellent New year's day WOD and it was an excellent way to keep my fitness up while on the road. Big thanks to Mike and the whole crew...come visit Nor Cal soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having switched from a well known rather large commercial gym I was a tad nervous. Worried that I would be surrounded by super fit gladiator types who would look down on me for being a ‘normal gym’ person. I couldn’t have been more wrong, whilst there are the super fit gladiator types (we all are on the inside, right?), most people were pretty normal and very welcoming. The workouts are hard but rewarding, the coaches are attentive and super knowledgeable (bonus is that they are easy on the eye as well ?), the Urbanites are all super friendly, encouraging and fun to work out with and there are no mirrors or the selfie brigade!
If you’re fed up with your current training come give Urban a try - six classes for $30!!

Everything you'd want from a CrossFit gym; well equipped, great trainers and most of all a friendly community.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Moved down to Wellington at the beginning of the year from the Bay and was a little nervous about starting a new gym. That didn't last long though, everyone including the coaches were so welcoming! Nearly all day open gym time fit perfectly for my training and they have a couply well set up weightlifting platforms. Would absolutely recommend this gym to anyone. The coaches are amazing and have a wealth of knowledge. Top notch place for everyone, whether you're just starting out on a fitness journey or have been at it for a while.
11/10 would recommend

So great to have an expert female head coach in Bailey Rogers. And, the dedicated gymnastics skills classes are awesome.
