★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used this service to send my letter from Auckland to Christchurch the 23rd of December ( I know it’s tricky) but I needed to submit my document to the general consulate of Japan before the Christmas holidays and to do so I booked an Airbnb to be able to receive my letter easily as I was traveling and didn’t had any address at this period.
So I found this company and I asked them to pick up my letter at my friend house in Auckland the 23 of December before 5 PM and the courier guy came around 11 AM to take the letter until there it was perfect.
The letter was supposed to arrive until 5:00pm of 24th, so I was waiting for it at the Airbnb place.
At 3:30 pm the next day, I was a little concern about the fact that I didn’t got any news about my delivery , I tracked the letter on their website and I was surprise to discover that my parcel was “already received” and that I was able to rate the driver. As you can imagine, surprise and anxious, I tried again until I manage to finally see where on the map the driver deliver the letter.
The letter was still in Auckland, I finally decided to call the warehouse to get more information about my parcel and to understand what was happening.
The guy was really helpful and tried to explain me that they may have lost the letter in the warehouse, he went away to take another look but didn’t find it.
To help him I sent him a picture of the letter and he explained me that the delivery guy may have deliver the missive to my old flat in Auckland as (and that my fault only) my friend didn’t wrote the new destination of the letter on top of the old one.
At this point we can’t say that the service was not good, I was just really mad at myself for not asking to my friend to write the Christchurch address on the letter...
But also I was a little angry at them to be able to loose a letter, but it was soon Christmas I could understand that they may have a lot of work at this period of time.
After the call I asked to my old flat mate to check in the mail box for the letter as the delivery guy may have dropped it here thinking that it was the destination of the missive.
Nothing was here.
After the Christmas holidays, I didn’t get any news from them until I decide to put a review saying that this guys have lost my letter and how mad I was.
I finally received a call from one of the employee telling me that they found my letter and asking me if I was able to receive it now.
He also ask me to erase my review as I was responsible of the mistake when i forgot to put the new address on the letter.
After that i received my letter in a day in my new place.
So to make a complete and fair review of this service I would like to say that :
Yes they deliver in a day around NZ even in the smallest town and for the price it’s actually a good service.
But also when we pay for this kind of service, we expect to get a call or at least an email when something is wrong.
And I know that the wrong address was on the letter but you still manage to lost it in your warehouse and mention on your website that the courier was deliver when It was not.
As it was a common mistake and because the service himself is good I can’t put one star but I can’t also give a really good review as the customer service is not the best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last week I had a perishable parcel to send to Tauranga, and I would like to congratulate the staff at the Otahuhu Depot of Urgent Couriers, for their super efficient service in these frustrating times for deliveries. I enquired early afternoon on their service, and was assured it would be 24 hour delivery, so I booked the service. The parcel was kept refrigerated overnight, and indeed was delivered the following afternoon in Tauranga, for a very reasonable cost. A big congratulation folks, and I will certainly use you in the future! Jenny Thorpe

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With correct address, the driver had trouble delivering my Hello fresh. And it said "delivered" on their website. I called to inquire and the lady said she can't find my street but she can get it sent out today and hang up on me when I asked her name. How can you arrange a redelivery when you don't have my details?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So during a pandemic they were delivering there workers were called hero's. I meet a really nice young lady who worked for them her son ended up in hospital with heart problems because of his second covid Vax so she decided not to get her second covid Vax. She no longer has a job because she's not vaccinated they got rid of all there so called hero's because of a Vax as yous did not have to do this it's just straight discrimination. Yous now won't have a few companies that my family run giving yous a contract for your food boxs. Discrimination is wrong

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our delivery was shown delivered, but it wasn't delivered to the right address. Tried phoning Urgent Couriers, no reply. Tried their chat room on their Web site, no reply. Delivery shown was two hours after the selected time of delivery. A total waste of an evening waiting for a delivery that never turned up and absolutely no way of contacting this company to find out where it was. Customer service at its worse.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bloody terrible. Same as below, marked Hello Fresh parcel as delivered when it wasn’t. Returned box to depot because driver “couldn’t find our house”. Our contact details are on the box! How about ask around or call?! I even heard the van outside. Now they can’t locate my box. Hello Fresh not so fresh now I suppose ? they also NEVER knock. Once caught them delivering my box to the neighbors. After arguing with them they finally agreed it was mine. Claimed that I had requested for my parcel to be “left with neighbors”. I work from home. Why would I request such a thing?
