β β β β β My first wall climbing experience ever. Something I had on my bucket list for decades and the automatic belay here made it sooo easy and me feeling safe. Great price I thought, too. I only used my own sneakers, git a brief intro by the friendly staff and had my partner watching over me from the ground. Half an hour was mire than enough, but after having done The Ohakune Old Coach Road cycling both ways one day and the Tongariro Crossing walk the other day beforehand, my strength was a bit reduced. Big fun though anyways!!!

β β β β β Amazing small business in the heart of Ohakune! We took our two girls (3 and 8) they both had a blast. Easy to use equipment, climbing walls for all abilities and The owner is great with kids. Some of the best customer service weβve encountered! Definitely a must do while in Ohakune.

β β β β β Absolutely brilliant place to go rock climbing thatβs for all ages. I went with a group of friends and the owner greeted me and taught me skills for each of the walls with a happy expression and the willingness to assist you wherever.
Would recommend a go at Vertigo available all year round.

β β β β β Awesome place for young and old, our kids had a great time! Lots of different levels to climb so if you are a complete beginner you'll still have a great time. In fact, you'll be scaling the more difficult walls by the end of your time. Worth a trip from wherever you are, you'll leave the place buzzing. Jerome who runs the place was awesome, super helpful and made the experience really fun. Recommend checking this place out right now, it's awesome.
