★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gorgeous views over the city. As we walked with a pram for our baby we appreciated the wheelchair accessible walkways. Dog loved the park too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Victoria Park is a real assett for Christchurch, and has something for everyone. Lots of walks with varying levels of challenge, picnic tables, dog exercise area, a lovely, large grassed area right by the car park at the top, with picnic space, toilets, a playground and sheltered areas - great for family or group outings. The views of Christchurch and surrounds are fabulous.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to visit, the walking and box paths are clear and easy to understand we went for a walk with our 4 year old and she loved the nature and the views of christchurch from up high it's not too hard for kids either. There is also a great park that they can go and play at if you not up there for a walk has a nice covered picnic area for the family too to stay cool on hot days. And some nice big trees to sit under also. Definitely would go again. Just nice to get away from the business of town but not too hours away if you cant afford a long trip out of town for the day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great diverse park to bring medium or large dogs (there aren't many small dogs around, and don't bring your dog if they're antisocial). There are logs to jump on, a mixture of long and short grass, good parking, and a nice walking track to loop around. Highly recommend for sociable pups!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for a picnic, walk or just to hang out. Lots of picnic spots and tables. There’s a few bins around which are becoming more challenging to find in Christchurch. Great walking tracks and a lot of green space and mowed lawns.
