★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Vietnamese restaurant has been an awesome Auckland Hotspot since the 90’s and has remained the same.
The Vietnamese salad is generous, hearty and healthy from other food places.
The fresh rolls are great- fairly priced and wonderful to eat on a hot summers day.
The Vietnamese coffee however was particularly burnt and didn’t have enough sugar as it’s suppose to.
Nevertheless it’s an awesome place to eat for all to enjoy.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just left this restaurant 5 mins ago. We ordered our food and as it was coming, me and my partner were very excited as the food looked very good. We were just about to eat and than my partner spotted an ant in her food. So I had a look in my food and also saw an ant. Not very happy about this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trying to find parking if driving ? can be a challenge as very limited parking at front. There is parking at the back gets full on the busy times.
Once in side spacious dinning area .

Baby high chairs available as well as toilets.
I ordered the curry chicken noodle ? soup which was nice .
Good portions soup was ok.
Also the wontons were delicious and crunchy the way I like them.
Coconut smoothie ?
Prices compared to other Vietnamese restaurants I have been to is very worth the price.
They even have fortune cookies 3 for a dollar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can never go wrong at this place. If you don't know what to get, just get the pork spareribs on rice or rice noodles with a side of egg and sausage. Honestly the best combo! Don't forget their Vietnamese Spring Roll!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local favourite. Tasty Shrimp rice noodle soup (missed pic opportunity), Spare ribs are pretty good & thee best fried spring rolls & wontons. Wheelchair friendly, lots of seating with extra parking out back. Hygiene has improved!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Back again to our favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Auckland the “Vietnam Cafe located at 38 Atkinson Avenue, Otahuhu, Auckland 1062 New Zealand.” This restaurant never fails to disappoint. A young gentleman promptly gave us a table & served us as soon as we walked in. We ordered a prawn rice noodle soup for hubby, my usual rice noodle beef ball soup, our hot served spring rolls 2 serves & 2 x pineapple smoothies! Deliciously cooked and my husband’s favourite rice noodle broth. Staff are always polite & kind to everyone who walks into their restaurant. Highly recommended. I’ll be back here with more family on my next visit to New Zealand.
