About Violette
Violette has a beautiful selection of charming gifts, homewares and plastic-free beauty products. Nearly all are NZ designed and most where possible are NZ-made. Violette is located within the House of Travel shop in Ellerslie Village. We are open week days 9-4 and you can shop online anytime.
Barbara Campbell opened Violette in June 2020. Back in the 1980s my husband and I created and ran Craft New Zealand/Cambridge Country Store. It showcased an extensive range of fine crafts by NZ artists. We operated it out of a restored large Gothic church on SH1 in Cambridge, fondly known as the Pink Church. We are very proud to have saved this historic building.
