They aren't salesmen trying to make a quick dollar, they're computer technicians.
Went in there with what I thought was a broken laptop. In under 5 mins they had diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Didn't charge me for the service. Will undoubtedly be going back there in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My laptop broke down due to a failed hard drive. Whilst VRC were able to recover my data, the communication was extremely poor and I ended up waiting a week to get my data and laptop back. They were not able to fix the laptop, but a technician in Harvey Norman offered to take a look and they got it going in ten minutes. Harvey Norman also found me a new PC for a much better price than what VRC offered. Overall a very poor service would not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience with vrc has been great from start to finish. Was able to buy my entire setup for a reasonable and sometimes cheaper price, whether it be the pc itself or the peripherals that was bought with it.
Customer service was polite and easy to understand as I wanted to compare different brands and their respective prices.
They were very patient with me, and we even had a few laughs.
Would highly recommend having a look online or visiting instore.

Though it is from another company in Auckland the team at VRC had no issue with running tests and giving us great advice on how to approach that company with questions.
They even did a clean and clone all with in a reasonable price.
