Maori lady at the counter very rude.
Instructor was great. And made me feel at ease.
If your in a rush. Don't go here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my restricted test here and had the best experience! My tester was so helpful in calming my nerves and reminding me to take deep breaths, her name was Hana. This was my second time taking the test so I was especially nervous and people told me this location was hard but I had no reason to be worried ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been on and off 6 times over last few weeks trying to find a good time with no queue, to no avail. So minimum hour long wait every time and when you're waiting for the wof they don't have a waiting area so you just stand outside in the sun. Not even seating is provided.
Also a worker tried to get me to leave the line once, even though they didn't close for another 4 hours and it wasn't like there would be a 'better' time to come back so that was kind of offputting

Horrible customer service.. two women sitting in front with male. Woman by the window with curly hair was the worst. So rude to everyone standing outside, she would put her head outside the window and was very unapproachable, short and dismissive. I understand Covid rules, I truly do, but that is no way to speak to members of the community who are coming in to get issues sorted/ pay for services. 1 lady was particularly confused and upset with how the curly haired woman was talking to her. Was very unsettling and awkward to be standing in line watching her behaviour. Management definitely need to have a word with this lady and furthermore, conversations on how to speak with future customers. I will definitely NOT be coming back here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a lovely driving testing officer lady, she was superb and definitely one of the better experiences I've had at Frankton VTNZ as from previous exchanges... until I went to the reception desk greeted by a not so lovely lady at the counter. Was super shocked at the service! She did apologise, probably because I was about to leave a shocking review while waiting for her to fill out my forms..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time user. Recommended by my mechanic mates. Was there for a total of 1.5 - 2 hours. Worth the wait to make sure my car was safe to drive and secondly they don't have a motive to charge you for something that doesn't need to be fixed.
Long wait times due to Covid

The guy who checked my car was awesome.
I said is that all that needs to be fixed?
He said "I can find more if you like ????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Son had his full License test today and passed and I think that was due to Driving Instructor Anthony B?. I sat in back seat and observed. It was an enjoyable experience because my Son is a competent driver and the Driving Instructor noted that. Instructor was excellent. He clearly stated instructions about & through out what was expected during the course of test, patient and made him feel at ease. The whole process was excellent to be apart of. Highly recommend Anthony B at VTNZ Frankton.
