★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not really polite at all.. Hit me up hard a little bit of rust but somehow missed the busted CV boot that was 30 cm away. Second time there encountered a very rude mechanic who thinks he is clever and just loves to tell people how it is.

Very quick as it’s first come first serve drive in, I didn’t have to wait at all.
Bit more expensive than most others but that’s the price for not having to book and just turn up!
However, only 3 stars due to being failed for 2x things wrongly; 1x as per original manufacture and 1x that had passed the 2+ previous WOF’s without question because it is not a failure. If I didn’t have previous engineering / vehicle experience, I wouldn’t have no better and agreed with them costing me some good $$$ at the panel beaters!
Luckily I was eventually able to explain / show why the first was completely wrong and then quickly fix the second (not that it needed to be as it shouldn’t have been a failure in the first place).
So all in all, I was happy because I got my WOF quickly when I didn’t have the time to wait for a booking space at a garage, so achieved what I needed quickly!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In April 2021 I paid $129 for a COF in Auckland, August 2021 paid $159 in Whangarei and now in Queenstown Ii paid $182 and thats including the NZMCA discount otherwise it would be $216? that insane. Where do we pay $182 for 20 minutes work? They are not using any materials and wages have not gone up that much. 40%price increase is just greedy. Will look for non VTNZ testing stations from now on

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unbelievable! I'm the only one at 9.15am, Thursday 19/5. The inspector even came into the waiting room looking for me. Last visit 6 months ago was a nightmare as I waited for hours in the waiting room and no one came to inform me that my car is ready to go. When asked, Reception said they do not come in, I have to go out and check for myself whether my car is ready or not. Great improvement this time. Maybe peoples left after the bad experience before and don't come back. Saw 5 inspectors and I'm the only customer this time. Feel like VIP LOL...
