Garry is the best person to get as an instructor for your full or restricted. Clear instructions and very calm. Wiri route is perfect with big roads and almost not that many obstacles.

Went to this VTNZ to take my practical test for Full Driver license. Got there early and the receptionist helped me with what I needed. Dimitrios was my supervisor and he was really polite in all his feedback, clear in his instructions while I was having the test and he didn't have any problem to allow my friend to come along. After hearing so many traumatic stories about this test, I will recommend this branch with no doubt. Thanks Dimitrios and VTNZ staff.

Great experience. Had my full test yesterday with testing officer Dimitrios. Very professional and calm. Clear with instructions and critiques. Definitely would recommend. Managed to pass the test, cheers!

Great Experience. Today I had given my restricted driving test and pass it. Garry was my driving instructor. I must say he very professional and calm. He gives me clear instructions throughout the test. Definitely I would recommed VTNZ Wiri for practical driving test.

The ladies here are lovely, warm and welcoming. I took my full license test here and Garry was my instructor. He just made me feel at ease and was very clear with instructions. And Yes I passed, thank you Garry and the team at Wiri. I would highly recommend going here to sit your test.

Pathetic customer service and no empathy towards person sitting for test. Our instructor (Gayan) made everything in his bag to distract, confuse my partner. She was calm and very confident that she can clear this but TO made comments like please be calm again and again which has resulted her getting more confused. He made deliberate attempts to give late instructions and wasn’t clear with instructions which added to her anxiety. He was not at all supportive rude and was highly uncooperative. By this time it was clear From his conduct that he want her to fail the test. He failed my wife with reason fail to stop at amber lights, where as She started her manoeuvre when it was green and turned Yellow when She already crossed white lines and was in between road, She did completed manoeuvre before it turned red, she was continuesly checking her rear mirror because car was at her back driving Bumper to bumper and it was highly unsafe for her too stop. But he said and insisted that it was amber when She started manoeuvre and should have stop no matter what the scenario. When I raised this with lady at customer service and told her that I want to speak with Branch manager she made me speak with Farooq who was not keen to listen to me and given me a number to call NZTA and seems angry because lady at customer service called her in between lunch. When I insisted I would like to challenge decision on testing officer and ready to wait for him to finish lunch so he can address my concerns, but he seems not interested. When I asked I want to give a complaint about behaviour of instructor and his unreasonable reason for me failing it, he rolled over his eyes on her and empathically said he can’t help us in it and he told we need to call nZTA. When I have given up and about to leave VTNZ I found Farooq having laugh with Gayan and saying something most likely about me because he was pointing on me which doesn’t goes well with me. I really felt soo low and humiliated without any fault. Complaining on behalf of My wife.

U probably would get confused where the entrance is. It really is. But if u enter at the entrance sign, then no worries. As soon as you enter u will find a stores which looks like a timber mill. Hence, I wandered what is that.. but from there, follow the arrows. Go to receptionist. Pay and stay in the in the matching line waiting for ur chance. They have offered a coffee machine to help ur self which is appreciated..
