β β β β β The women who run this place are amazing. They were so informative and helpful and even found us accommodation as we arrived during the anniversary weekend and didn't know it. Go ask them anything!!

β β β β β We popped in thinking it was the obvious place to find out information about tours, train rides and things to do. As soon as we walked in the lady behind the counter ignored us (no greeting) and walked off leaving us standing in the middle of reception witout a sole in site. When she returned she was so incredibly rude! When I explained that what I had seen on the train website and what was on price boards was different.. I was confused and. .. she got more agitated... she forcefully said these were the prices for a long time. Finally I worked out that this was not where we paid for train tickets... and she replied the train has nothing to do with her! Passed us a brochre and when I asked about directions to get there, was angrily told to look at the bottom of brochure and follow the map! Not what I'd call I nice warm welcome to a new town. Won't ever be returning to do any tours with you! Thanks isite!

β β β β β Karen was SO helpful. She set us up for a great day in Waihi and phoned forward to organise the next day in Paeroa. Such a lovely person. We are so lucky having people like her working in the tourist industry. Her kindness really made our day.
