About Waikato Demolition
Waikato Demolition (formally Waikato Concrete Crushing) was formed in 2006 by parent company Cavalier Homes (Waikato) Ltd (formally AP Developments) a long standing construction company.
The company noticed a need to provide an acceptable solution to waste concrete with a focus of reducing waste in our landfills.
Waikato Demolition started primarily as a recycler of concrete waste into usable aggregates but has quickly established itself as the major player in the Waikato demolition market, in both residential and commercial. With our expertise, this has provided us with the knowledge to tackle all facets of demolition safely, quickly and competently.
“Waikato Demolition” has a core staff of 18, then along with our sister company “Cavalier Homes Waikato” which has a Staff of 14, this brings our total of employees to over 30.
All of our staff live within the Waikato area.
Both Waikato Demolition and Cavalier Homes Waikato are based at our Office/Yard at 56 Foreman Road, Te Rapa Hamilton.
Between both Waikato Demolition & Cavalier Homes Waikato, we have made and continue to make donations, monetary as well as products to charities.
A few of these are as follows: Children’s Foundation, Epilepsy Foundation, Heart Children, Foundation for the Blind, Special Children’s Christmas Party & Hydrotherapy Pool.
Waikato Demolition has also donated to the Te Rapa Water World Hydrotherapy Pool project 200m³ of recycled crushed concrete along with reduced rates for the cartage of this product to the site, which has an estimated saving of $10,000.00.
Another donation that Waikato Demolition has made, though not in the Hamilton City but within the Waikato, was the Karapiro Rowing Building. Waikato Demolition won the contract to demolish this building. We added to this by donating the crushed concrete that we produced on site, for their use in the Site Works, Foundations etc. By donating this product we contributed a saving of approximately $4,000.00.
