Wairarapa Funeral Services is proud to be a member of the Funeral Directors’ Association of New Zealand (FDANZ).
Since it was founded in 1937, the FDANZ has promoted quality, expertise and integrity in the funeral profession, and has encouraged the training and education of funeral directors. Today the FDANZ represents approximately 85 per cent of funeral practices in New Zealand.
As members of the FDANZ, Wairarapa Funeral Services follows the Rules of the Association as well as a strict Code of Ethics and a Code of Conduct. In keeping with its commitment to high standards of professionalism and ethics, the Association has introduced an independent disputes resolution process.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Robert and Anna, we were really happy with the service and everything that accompanied it and so glad we chose to have Dad's funeral with you. The chapel was just right and Pam was a great choice as celebrant. We had so many comments on how perfect the service was for Dad and we were pleased our overseas family could watch it.
Thank you for all your support and patience with our questions on the live stream, photos & Covid rules etc. We felt looked after during what was a really difficult time.

The professionalism of both Robert and Anna was outstanding. Their willingness to accommodate the plans we requested for Keith were handled with quiet commitment and at times gentle suggestions. Things that we thought might be an issue were sorted with easy.
Robert went the extra mile when we came to see Keith and at the service this made us feel like we were all part of a bigger, caring family.
Empathetic, patience, compassionate, kind, caring, professional – there are not enough superlatives to describe this team.
I would recommend Robert and Ann without hesitation.
On behalf of myself and Keith’s extended family I want to say thank you Robert and Anna for all your support and help with my little brother Keith’s service and keep up the amazing work.

What initially attracted me to Wairarapa Funeral Services was the fact that its chapel was the right size for a small gathering and that the casket did not have to be moved from the premises for cremation.
Best of all however was the director, Anna Wolffram. She was absolutely delightful. Her professional, dignified and quiet manner made us feel relaxed. She had patience when asked, sometimes repeatedly, for explicit details about procedures, and always welcomed us whenever we entered the funeral home.
The experience for us, was one of peace and calm as everything was taken care of.

No problem was to big for Anna to solve. She’s a star, she’s thoughtful, caring, a breath of fresh air, and sure definitely knew how to put a smile on our faces at this tough time.

My brother and I had to sort things this time, a difficult task but having met Rob before I knew we were in good hands. We met Anna who was to be our funeral director and she was perfectly suited to the task. She is a compassionate professional, pure and simple. I cannot rate her manner and care of our Mother highly enough. She helped us choose a plot with Mum, turned out in the middle of the night when she passed and was just the right person to take her away, so carefully. Thank you Anna for helping us through this most saddening time and making it the best possible experience it could be.
