HISTORY
In 2002 Tim Coates-Walker identified an opportunity in the New Zealand market place to develop a total solutions logistics company covering all aspects of the movement of goods both within New Zealand and internationally.
Today Walker Logistics is now a leading provider of transport and logistics solutions both domestically and internationally, servicing the New Zealand market place. We employ in excess of fifty staff and we move in excess of a 1000 shipments per day.
We are a privately owned New Zealand company managed by its key shareholders.
We provide total domestic solutions, Local, shorthaul, nationwide courier and bulk freight movements.
We provide total International Solutions, End-to-end Import/Export courier, airfreight, seafreight and customs services.
We take a personal approach, working with clients as “business-partners” to become an extension of their brands and services
PERSONNEL
All senior personnel have many years of experience in their respective fields within the logistics industry, and have held positions of department or branch management prior to joining Walker Logistics.
Walker Logistics people are employed for attitude and trained for skills which means that we develop true logistics professionals.

NETWORK
Walker Logistics operates its own dedicated transport and logistics facilities at Auckland Airport, Te Rapa, Hamilton and Christchurch with a combined footprint of over 5000m2. From these three strategic locations we service over 50% of the New Zealand freight volumes directly to the main centres of Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Whangarei, Christchurch and regional points in between for both courier and bulk freight.
Walker Logistics provides some of the fastest sameday delivery services in the shorthaul markets in addition to providing competitive overnight delivery solutions.
Between the North and South islands we operate our own dedicated linehaul systems to provide a reliable and efficient delivery service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shocking service over the phone would definitely NOT reccomend this company 3 phone calls later and being mucked around and they finally sorted my package the only positive thing I can say about this company is the truck who delivered my package was very good .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst courier company i ever dealt with. Item have been sent out 5 days ago from Auckland to Christchurch and i still haven't received it. Every time i called them they keep saying it will be delivered next day. Now 5 days down the track im finding out that item haven't left Auckland depot yet.
I recommend not to use this company there are way better options on the market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a parcel sent from Auckland to Hamilton by the supplier I purchased the goods from and it did not arrive. Apparently, the moron driver drove from Auckland to Hamilton then return back to Auckland with my goods! Having to reschedule the delivery again via a proper courier company.
This the worst company to do business with, stay well clear if these fools.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst courier company ever. Don't have tools to drop the package from their truck. Driver asked my wife to pick the package from their truck. What the..???
My wife said wait a sec she will get our trolley, after she back the driver just gone without saying anything. Calls and txt were not answered.
Still not received package from Christchurch to auckland more than 10 days.. Call center wasn't help much too..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible customer service. Our parcel says it's delivered but it's not. Says dropped at Rural drop off point - what even is that.
The 0800 number always goes on voicemail. Feels like a scam and our very expensive parcel has been delivered somewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Someone tell me that tracking history makes sense? Stick to NZ Post- at least they know what they’re doing when it comes to tracking software and actually delivering parcels promptly. (Side note: I didn’t actually receive the parcel on the 18th either- they still had to deliver them to NZ Post so they could deliver it to me rurally- may as well skip the middle man).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased an expensive item from Auckland which was then shipped to Dunedin via Walker Logistics.
It was meant to take 2-3 working days. On day 4 after dispatch I emailed them, to be told it would be with me the next day, the next day - today, it says its out for Delivery in Christchurch and on questioning this I am told it says Chirstchurch because this is where the depot is, and it will be delievered tomorrow before 8am! So.. it's not actually out for delivery then! Another day wasted/plans not made because waiting for this item
So I have wasted days waiting for this item and bee majorly inconvenienced
In the time frame it is has taken them to get it this far (6 days to get from Auckland to Dunedin) I have had parcels ordered, from Australia and the USA, be shipped, go through customs, and be delivered.
Wouldn't be so bad if they had decent tracking, which actually told you what was happening, and didn't keep shifting the goal posts.
