★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding lodge. We extended our stay we enjoyed it so much. Beautiful grounds and common areas for having happy hour, working, or reading. Met such nice people at the communal breakfast table. Highly recommend tasting at Rippon Winery, eating at Big Fig, and hiking at Diamond Lake. Free laundry was a nice touch. 10 min walk to #thatwanakatree and 20 min walk along the lake into town. Looking forward to staying again here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We throughly enjoyed our stay with Kaalene and Alan. We were made to feel so very welcome. The accommodation is so special, the amenities are on point and the customer service is beyond exceptional. Perfect location, can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a must stay and we will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hubby and I are having 7 night's here in the North room. Fantastic comfy B&B. Wonderful friendly staff who care about visitors having a great experience. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful enough. Nice to chat to the other guests around the oak table if you've time in the morning. Nice homely wood burner in the common lounge, makes it pleasant if you want to sit around on the comfy lounge chairs in the evening . Hot tub. Laundry. All the usuals in your room. A short walk in to town. The views in and around the Wanaka Lake area are amazing. We tried to have a healthy paced walk and you just can't, because you are always stopping to take yet another beautiful photograph! A photographer's paradise! Would recommend this place for a get away. Had a look at the self contained accommodation and these would definitely suit families and group bookings. Wanaka has lots to offer, shopping, great food options, walks, hikes, water activities, airport nearby for above ground experiences, deer museums, toy museums plus so much more. You won't be disappointed . Wanaka Homestead is excellent and compliments the whole Wanaka experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW! We so very much enjoyed our stay here right near the Lake. Alan and Carlene were super friendly hosts dedicated to making our stay comfortable. Daily home baking, cooked breakfasts, and access to the kitchen kept us fuelled up. Then the hot spa and an open fire in a cosy cumfy lounge was divine after a day out. The free bicycles to bike around Wanaka were such a treat and a highlight of our stay. Highly recommend this place! Thanks Wanaka Homestead.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can’t rave about this lodge enough - Kaalene and Allan are the most welcoming hosts and gave us great recommendations on where to eat and what to do in Wanaka. The Homestead is gorgeous and comfortable. From the fluffy bathrobes to the cute welcome present, the level of care and presentation is second to none. We had such an enjoyable stay - thank you! See you again :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful stay. We really enjoyed our baby moon at the homestead with Alan and his wife cooking us breakfast. Delicious homemade banana bread and scones as well as eggs and fresh walnuts. We stayed in the Master bedroom upstairs. Spacious and super clean. Beautiful views of the willow tree and homestead. Robes and natural products. The macrocarpa wood at the homestead is beautiful!
The hot tub was lovely to sit by as my partner went in.
Alan gave us a great map and recommendations for food which were epic.
They even put out marshmallows, hot chocolate and sticks to roast marshmallows by the fire.
Tea and coffee available and biscuits all the time.
Just across from station park with the wanaka tree.
They gave me a bag of walnuts to take home as I loved them so much.
We will be back. Hopefully for some skiing in winter too. Loved it.

family as well as we could have our own rooms and come together for meals etc as we wanted. They were excellent and so and accommodating nothing was a problem would stay there again thank you

Location and grounds were exactly what we were after and we'd have no reservation as recommending Wanaka Homestead as a place to stay.
