★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a Polytechnic for students to study. They have a cafeteria for staff and students and I'm not sure if they open to the public but they are reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I graduated from this faculty a few years ago. The premises are good and some of the tutors are at the top of their field. However, some courses are not up to scratch with the real world and you might struggle when entering the workforce. It is now merged with Whitireia and it would be interesting to see what the future has in store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Making complaints must be made easier and addressing them, transparent. Writing letters are a thing of past.
Absolutely hopeless institution, DO NOT BELIEVE published details on their website, they are capable of and will change course structure and duration to suit them and then ask for more fees. My son enrolled into one which was under 'Fees Free' and they messed up his course arrangement due to their organizations restructure and asked him to pay, we complained several times, spoke to their executive secretary who said someone will call me and instead I received an email asking to write my Complaint and the Registrar Martin says I was rude. Raise a complaint and make yourself clear then you're 'Rude'. You need to introduce more than one mechanism for a complaint Mr. Martin.
PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS INSTITUTE OR SEND YOUR WARD HERE IF YOU CARE ENOUGH FOR THEM, INSTEAD CHOOSE ANY OTHER GOOD ALTERNATIVE.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a very positive experience with WELTEC. From the admin staff, head of departments and lecturers - great people and super helpful. I did mechanical engineering level 3 and was very happy with the quality of training I received. I found a job even before the program concluded.
