★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is th landmark of wellington where the sign is designed as blown away by the wind, indicating that we are nearly blown away by the wind in welly. It is typical for welly to feel the wind not the breeze and that hollywood look-a-like sign is one thing you should not miss to take a photo with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited Wellington in 2019 and saw the sign as we left the airport but couldn't stop, it definitely suits its name given how windy it was in Evans bay, the waters were raging early in the morning. I would definitely recommend stopping and taking pictures of this iconic landmark.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good spot. Depiction of Welly as one of the windiest cities. Occasional street food trucks pop up. On the day we went, had a Zaffron Moroccan food truck, amazing food, good quantity and reasonable prices.
