β β β β β Hopeless and would be hesitant to call them about a stranded pet rock let alone an actual animal again.

β β β β β Adopted my dog from this branch, and the staff are lovely and adore all the animals they care for. They take the time to ensure that the animals are going to the right homes, and I'm so glad they helped me find my girl

β β β β β As it happened by chance, my wife and I had taken a drive to exhaust some of the frustrations of Covid and the shut down period. We happened to drive the bays and found the Wellington SPCA. At that point we decided to pop in and have a chat about adopting. This we did! NEVER in my life of many many years struck such a rude, obnoxious and controlling receptionist. She told us in commanding attitude to get on the web and apply! As I have mentioned we were prepared to adopt and more than willing to pay along with a sizeable donation to meet with currant prices from the web for purebred dogs.
To the Wellington SPCA I have over the years adopted on three occasions dogs that were destine to the ever life. NEVER with a problem! Let me also say I have extensive dog training experience and breeding.
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH WELLINGTON SPCA! I was under the understanding they are there for the betterment of animals and in this case dogs. ABSOLUTELY WRONG.!
If Wellington SPCA would like to adopt out I suggest someone ( with a civil manner) make contact!

β β β β β We got our beautiful pup from here. When we met him we fell in love. I would say maybe have a private room for potential adoptees so they can see if they bond. The room we had was busy and all our little one wanted to do was escape and fins the man who had a broom. But that's all. We love our boy and he is a sweetie.
