About Karori Veterinary Clinic
We've been with Karori Vet Clinic for about 12 years. With two big golden retrievers we've had our share of visits over that time. We've always been super happy with the service from all the staff over the years, they consistently demonstrate that they genuinely care about the dogs. Glenn especially was really wonderful with the care and passing of our elderly dog. I always recommend these guys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thanks Karori Vet Staff! I rushed my poor wee boxer Sookie to the vet yesterday morning with no appointment as she became very sick overnight, they were accomodating and saw that morning. Sookie has a virus but is now on the mend after a thorough check over and some meds ?❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Glenn was amazing when our cat was run over by a car. He gave us options and good advice. With their support (including free use of a cat carry cage and a huge cage for our cat to live in for 6 weeks) we are happy to say our little cat is fighting strong without a huge debt. I highly recommend Karori and Island Bay vet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a great experience for our little puppy who came to us during lockdown. On his first visit, at 11 weeks, he was told to be not trained because he wouldn't be calm and take in a thermometer from a stranger without us being there. When we (one of us) were allowed in, there was little to no time given to calm him ourselves. The interaction was very rushed and the poor pup was very scared and dirtied the place. For which the goodboi who holds his sits and stays for over 45seconds at 14 weeks was told to be not trained at all.
We thank Karori vet for offering their service our pup during his time of need but we cannot say it was a pleasant experience for a young pup who needs more than that to find this awkward experience a little bearable.

My senior-sociopath-semiferal cat Hugo was obviously not impressed by the crate and the car ride (menacing meows and looks were), but the doc quickly put him at ease and with pats and treats, completed his check-up and even gave him a shot so smoothly that Hugo didn't even blink. Thanks doc ?
