★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A far superior lookout than the Ohope lookout just down the hill (the view from which is obscured by trees) this spot offers real views of Ohope from west-end all the way along to Ohiwa and beyond on a clear day. There's a place to pull off the road and park and the lookout area itself is grass with a wooden fence around (the grass is kept tidy). There is a rubbish bin but no other facilities.
