★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Upon arriving at wet pets they had a small pen with 2 piglets in it and a few bird enclosures in the carpark, all of these were riddled with wild mice, both adult and babies! They were running all over the place inside and outside the enclosures, very unsanitary for the animals (and humans!)
The rabbits are kept in tiny pens, very upsetting to see them kept in such confined spaces especially as some people may then think that the enclosure is an acceptable space for a rabbit, which is far from the truth.
The pups are in small runs where they can't even escape their own toileting.
The bird section was so overcrowded full of all types of birds mixed in together and again small confined spaces which people probably will think is acceptable for the animal to live in.
I didn't once get any attention from staff members - although there were quite a few standing around talking to each other. I also found no signage with any useful information about caring for these animals, the only signs I saw were the big "do not touch" signs for all the animals (staff obviously aren't bothered as kids were sticking there hands in all sorts of gaps to touch the animals)
Overall I came out feeling overwhelmed and upset about the whole experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our third visit here. Not local but we always stop here when coming though. It's got so many animals and helpful staff. We bought a sweater for our elderly car here and it's lasted well.

1- you can visit puppies and kittens and bunnies and fish, turtles and even tadpoles most of the time. I quite often bring my kids for a visit just to see the animals
2- the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about animals and fish if you’re going for more than sight seeing, I recently needed puppy shampoo and a harness and we got excellent information and advice on both.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh Gosh what is there not to like about Wet pets! My partner and I make it our fortnightly stop when dropping my kids back in palmy. Great team, shop and setup. The animals are looked after so well too. Super cool and a must visit for anyone going to Palmy
