About Central Glass & Aluminium Ltd
A locally owned and operated company, Central Glass & Aluminium was founded in 2012 by Michael Knox and Damian Ellison. Both Michael and Damian are qualified glaziers with over 30 years combined experience in the glass industry. They started off as apprentices and worked their way up to management roles for leading companies in New Zealand’s glass industry. Michael and Damian are well known for their vast technical knowledge on the multitude of products and glazing techniques available.
Michael, Damian and their team are passionate about all things glass and look forward to sharing their knowledge with you in your next glass based project.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super happy with the windows I had put in and the first guy I dealt with was awesome. He had a lot of knowledge and passion about his job, which made us choose Central glass and aluminium.
The down side of them was the lack of communication, they wouldn't call me back, didn't inform us when their workers were coming around or if plans had changed and weren't able to come around. The finishing wasn't up to scratch and I had to get them back to tidy up, we've let them know of one last thing that needs to be tidyed and are waiting for this to rectified.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wouldn't recommend these guys. Had a glass top made for a table which shattered within a few months. The guys are Central Glass won't even respond on the matter. Very arrogant - it would pay to avoid them.

There was delays due to Covid as to be expected but they were always happy to give me an update and re evaluate when the job can be done after each lockdown. Would definitely recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great company to work with, we've used them just about every week for the last 3 years for supplying windows for our homes. Awesome to deal and flexible around deliveries. We've had a couple of tiny issues with 2 sets but the customer service from Michael has been exceptional and they were rectified quickly. Highly recommend to all. We are looking forward to working with them for the next 3 years.
