★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of my fondest memories were at Whammy, lovely staff and atmosphere. Unfortunetly Whammy has taken it upon themselves to impose nonsensical and discriminatory vaccine passes which belong in the dustbin of history by now. I don't think I'll ever go back there again (it's not like a have a choice).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This venue is an icon in the Auckland non-mainstream scene. Long ago is was a nightclub called Calibre but is now a venue hosting all sorts of events from live rock bands to underground techno. Being below ground level is has that dark, secretive feel which all the best music venues have.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a great bar- always has been. They have the best gigs and I’m so into the fact that they are still using vaccine passes- as an immunocompromised person this makes me feel a lot safer, so thank you.

bulous bar people including my daughter Ella so I'm very glad the vaccine passes are still required to get into this often packed venue. It will mean she and everyone who works there will be safer.
