We have booked as a group but won’t all arrive together, do we need individual tickets for the door?

All members of your party need to show a proof of entry when requested. Your ticket confirmation email will contain all your tickets. You can save all the attachment tickets, split them up and forward them onto your party. If you do this, make sure everyone gets a unique ticket – they all have a number.

Is it essential to bring ID for entry?

Yes, this is a requirement of NZ Liquor Licensing laws, No ID = No entry.

What sort of ID is acceptable at the door?

Current NZ Drivers Licence, Kiwi Access Card, current Passport (any nationality) are the only acceptable forms of ID.

Is there an age restriction for entry to the venue?

Yes, R18.

Is there disabled access?

Yes, but only for the main room. Loading zone at the door, no steps, wide doorways and disabled toilet provided. For booking priority entry (advised), pls email [email protected]. Access to the upstairs lounge and/or basement is via 2 flights of stairs with no lift, and neither room has a disabled toilet facility.

Do you provide a coat/bag check?

Yes, this is provided at the reception desk.

Will there be door sales?

Do you have Eftpos for door sales or is it cash only?

Eftpos is available for all door and merchandise sales.

Is the show seated or standing?

The majority of shows are standing only unless advertised otherwise. If you require a chair for medical reasons this will be provided. Pls book in advance by emailing: [email protected].

Where do I park?

Free parking in Galatos and surrounding streets after 6pm. Public car park 10 mins walk from our door. Pls check the website for hours and costs.

Is there a smoking area?

Smoking is permitted outside the venue on the pavement, pass outs are given, we have a canopy overhead which provides shelter.

Do you have venue security?

Yes, security guards are on duty for all events at Galatos.
