Description
Our vision is that all girls and young women in every community are inspired and empowered to turn their dreams into reality. To do that we need fun and energetic volunteers (both men and women) to run high quality units. Police Check required for this role.Hours
Meetings run for up to two hours during the school term. Any planning done outside of this can be done flexibly and from home. There will be opportunities to get involved in camps and activities in the school holidays.Skill requirements
You do not need any prior experience in Guiding to get involved. You just need to be someone who: Is passionate about working with children and young people aged 5-6 (Pippins), 7-9 (Brownies), 9-12 (Guides) and 12-17 (Rangers). Is good at building lasting relationships with children and families. Enjoys planning and delivering fun activities to help girls thrive. Wants to empower and motivate girls to be the best version of themselves. Loves to get involved in the local community. You will be given free leadership training and all uniform is provided.Personality requirements
If you are passionate about girls feeling good about themselves and confident in their abilities and individuality, it is very likely that we will have a role for you in helping them achieve this.
