★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just got back from the Lane Cove walk return by water taxi - thoroughly recommend Whangaroa Harbour Water Transport - you were absolutely awesome - taking all of our (extensive!) luggage and supplies to the hut. Fabulous informative staff with a great sense of humour - proud to be a Northlander with service like this and stunning scenery on our doorsteep. Thanks Guys - we will be back :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The water taxi is amazing, booking essential. We took it on the way back from Lane cove hut after walking out there from Totara North and after climbing Duke's Nose (MUST DO!!!). 25$ pp was very reasonable. The ride back was super fun with great views of Dukes Nose, cool rock formations, Whangaroa and St Paul's Rock. Captain was cool. They even gave us a ride back from the Jetty to the carpark. I'll be back for the harbor cruise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice tour of 90 min. The rock formations have an interesting story and names. Definitely worth the trip as the harbor is a beautiful site and unique to others in the North Island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked a water taxi to pick us up at Lane Cove after hiking the Wairakau Stream Track (which is the BEST dayhike in NZ). The booking was very easy and we booked it just before we went on our walk. Lovely people! Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walked into Lane Cove yesterday with friends and returned by water taxi today. Luke the Water Taxi driver is awesome. Very friendly, funny sense of humour and just a darn good bloke, especially putting up with 8 rowdy women and all our baggage! Hahaha - I would highly recommend Whangaroa Harbour Water Transport - they are fantastic! We are so lucky to have this stunning place in our backyard. I will definitely be back with my kids next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great tour/trip around a beautiful harbour. It was a beautiful calm morning which made for a great trip. Such a beautiful harbour, with so many hidden spots. We were given a good background on the history of the harbour, although some more information of pre-european times would have been good. If you get the opportunity this is a must do.
