★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beatiful place to walk to. The falls themselves are different, falling over moss. Very nice.
Quite a steep walk, if you want to take it just past the bottom of the falls to a grassy area above, with a picnic table.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy 50 min walk in, pity that DOC haven't made some basic repairs to several slips along the way that are potentially hazardous. To get to the Falls you need to ford the river ... its below knee depth ... then clamber up rocks to resume the last 10 mins of the track. A bit hairy! When you get to the Falls, climb up to the left of them and cross into the bush where there's a further waterfall that's not otherwise visible. Highly recommend this walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great walk, nice flat easy walk, until you get to the waterfalls there are tree roots etc to climb up, take your waterproof shoes if you have them! Lovely swimming spots on the way along the river, and an awesome swingbridge to cross over ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great walk for people of all ages - mostly flat . Some surfaces are slippery with the water from the waterfall but saw lots of young children still doing the walk and people taking their dogs also . The bridge has been washed away currently from heavy rain fall, but you can still easily access the waterfall by walking across a river on an alternative crossing .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome day walk. Do it when you're in Nelson. Beware the track has slips on it, which you can walk over or climb around. Also easy river crossing to navigate. Is slippery around the waterfall. Keep going as long as there are orange triangle markers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you go at the right time the angle of the sun's rays on the falls make them truly magical. We were there about 10.30am. Note that there is a river crossing. Don't attempt in flood.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a fantastic walk this was highly recommended some small slides that you have to be careful on still kid freely with adult help of need.. best to take some shoes you don't mind getting wet as you have to pass threw the river once you reach the waterfall it's amazing ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice and enjoyable hike. Generally flat and easy with a couple of tougher parts - the river crossing was deeper than I expected, over half way up my thigh at the deepest point but current not overly strong so easy enough. A bit tougher right before the falls as it is a bit of a climb and can be slippery but really not as bad as I expected given some of the reviews I had read beforehand. Some slips but everything is well marked and easy to manoeuvre
