★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice collections of books, stationery, magazines, and things. Looks very quiet, though. Staff members are friendly and attentive. Car parking are off-street, so can be challenging most of the time. The area is nice as there are plenty of other shops nearby so you can get all of shopping done in one go.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really enjoy Whitcouls! Incredible variety, stationery, gifts, books, everything! Also the only store in Nelson that I've managed to find that sells refill ink cartridges for fountain pens. Great service and very reasonable pricing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I Love coming here for helping My Sons choose Presents for each other for Birthday's, and buying their Friends' Presents . Great Staff. They're really helpful, knowledgeable and on to it about what's trendy etc . They have a "Specials" / Reduced items table down the back. They sell a huge variety of quality items. Wheelchair friendly ramp inside store. Huge Carpark out the back, don't ever bother try parking in the main street. And ... They have Lotto ??
