We ordered a top shelf whiskey from this shop, went out of our way to collect it... only to receive it with the box all scuffed up with a tear on the leather box.
When I called the shop to bring it to the owner's attention, he immediately told me off saying there was no way that would've occurred and refused to believe me and continued to talk over me. I wasn't asking for a refund or a discount and yet he continued to tell me he doesn't believe that could've happened.
Would never recommend nor trust to deliver on premium goods.

I will definitely be back the range available in this Boutique shop is outstanding highly recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing whiskeys, flavor full wines, lovely treats, amazing gifts and all in all great customer services! Visiting Whitford Merchants has been one of the best experiences I have ever had. I went upon a recommendation received by a friend. Open arrival at the shop I was surprised at the variety of whiskeys offered by them and also amazed at the exquisite taste each of them had. Based on their expertise the recommendations made to buy new ones has never left me disappointed. Every time I leave the shop I am more blissful and satisfied than the last visit. Not only is the alcohol amazing there but the treats, snacks, cheese and other products are amazing. Also whenever I want to buy gifts, I am amazed at the variety of hampers they offer and they are great value for money! There are also regular wine and whiskey tasting held to try out new and exciting beverages. For all drink lovers ... this is as must visit! A great shout out to the owners for always providing great customer service! This is a shop which will always leave you with an experience which wonderful, blissful and overjoyed!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shop is amazing it is so well stocked especially in whiskeys, huge selection, plus great selections of gins, rums, ports, vodkas,cognacs, snacks to accompany your favorite drinks, all sorts, you wouldn't believe what is in this shop without stepping inside. Specialty spirits and drinks too a very hit standard to the very top of the range you delight in and they will delight in helping find and obtain what you want and are looking for, if not there they investigate you wants and get it in for you. Easy access whilst in Whitford in and out with generally plenty of parking, very friendly and helpful service. Great place to visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Def worth stopping in, even just to see what's there for future. reference.. Then you can shop online. Fantastic selection of Whiskey wine and gin, amongst other alcoholic beverages and great quality mixers. Loads of things you can treat yourself with or put together for a fancy gift. Surprisingly, the prices aren't to bad - talk about a one stop shop.
