★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This a good reasonably priced place to stay in Rotorua. Good clean units with kitchens and bathrooms. There are also camper van and tent sites right beside the lake with clean toilets and showers and a kitchen. A good place for larger groups to stay. Peaceful and quite picturesque.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner is extremely impolite and arrogant. Never seen such a rude person before.
Just 200 mb wifi is not state of the art and the site looks quite old.
All campers in the first row are very compressed together.
I would definitely not recommend that site and prefer the other sites next to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a bad place, I stayed twice. However on the second night I got woken up by the owner who put me on the pitch next to the bins (pitch 2).
I would have thought as an owner he would do the glass bottle bins ahead of time to not wake any of his campers up. Politely told him he woke me up, "gotta do the bins mate" is what I got back. I think "sorry mate" would have been enough to not leave this review but I really hated the attitude and dislike places with poor customer service when something goes wrong.
I won't be back and there are plenty of other decent and affordable places to stay in Roturua.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to stay in NZ. The views are amazing over the lake. Peaceful and very clean. Would definitely stay again. We stayed 2 nights on a powered site. Great value for money. Owners are really nice with a great sense of humour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We camped here for 3 nights and we highly recommend this campground. All the facilities are clean and the manager immediately made us feel welcome on arrival. Our dogs enjoyed it too. We had a lovely view of the lake. We met many people who camp at this park on a regular basis. That in itself tells you a lot. Our site was big enough. Approximately 9 x 10 meters. We will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've always been loyal to this site. But now unless your double jabbed you won't get in. However you will at the site 100yards up the road. Medical apartheid at its finest.. thx for the memories. But I won't be back. Nice site up the road folks
