A little gem in the suburbs but only minutes from everything, and they love fur babies.
We had a spacious one bedroom with air-conditioning which in this heat was amazing. Owners and staff were welcoming and friendly - and showed that they cared that you were enjoying your stay.
A big thank you to Lynne and Neville for making us and Ember feel at home, our room had a lovely bathroom and kitchen and we felt more like family sitting outside of an evening.
Wine Country Motel is only minutes from restaurants, wineries, recreational areas and local attractions. Great value for money over 3 days. Thanks Guys!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ David and I would like to give a shout out to this awesome place Wine Country Motel, Havelock North ? If you have a furbaby that you want to take on holiday go here! Neville and Lynne (the owners) treat you like family. We loved our little chats with Neville, he always had the time to stop what he was doing and ask us how our day was. Ember was treated as royalty and got many pats. The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable (with aircon) David and I enjoyed sitting out on our little patio in the evening drinking adult beverages. The motel location was great and centrally located amongst the vineyards. Yay. We had no issues with taking Ember with us to different venues, we just called beforehand to make sure they were dog friendly. She did not cramp our style. The dog walks in Hastings are incredible with alot of them under tree cover in this heat. Thank you Neville and Lynne for the wonderful stay. We will be back ?? Highly recommended +++

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location is unusual as it's directly next to a roundabout making it slightly difficult to get into it however it is close to town. The manager of the place was very nice. There's hair everywhere, the pool is grimy and not well looked after, the apartments are small, the bathrooms are abnormally large in comparison to the rest of the apartment and the overall space is utilized very strangely. I think the cleaning regiment could be slightly better all around. Overall it's a nice place just hope it could be cleaned more thoroughly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic Hotel. great location, swimming pool was perfect at the end of a warm day. The rooms were extremely clean, well equipped kitchen. Lynne and Neville are very welcoming, gave us lots of advice where to go, good restaurants, fruit picking and places we could take our dog. One of the only hotels allowing dogs which meant we could take our 4 legged friend away.
