β β β β β The wife and I stayed at the Lodge on the 6th of May. We found the car park very spacious and the room very clean and tidy. The owner was very pleasant and nice to talk to. Even though our room didn't have the best of views the location of town was a pleasant 3 minutes walk away. A big thanks for letting us keep the car pass the 10am checkout as wanted to spend more time in lovely Havelock North.
Will be back.
Len and Pauline.

β β β β β We were in an upstairs room which was ok for us. (Be sure to ask for downstairs if you don't want to carry your stuff up stairs)
The only disadvantage I could see with the downstairs rooms are that guests park their cars directly in front of them.
If you are in a downstairs room you may be disturbed by engine noise, headlights, etc.
The rooms were clean and spacious and had all the basic kitchen equipment.
We don't tend to spend much time in the room - its just somewhere to sleep and shower.
Good value to get a spa bath in the room for around the cost as some rooms without spa baths. The spa bath is nice but we could hear our neighbour's spa bath filling and when the jets were on - so they could probably hear ours.
Easy location to find and close to several good restaurants.
My three stars is because it was everything a motel should be - clean, presentable, comfortable.....nothing overally special that I would award 4 stars for.
Other reviews mention good service from staff (maybe thats why they have awarded 4 or 5 stars) Our interaction with the staff was very brief so we are not able to comment on that aspect.
If we were in the area we would stay again so thumbs up from us.

β β β β β A clean and new motel, well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The owner is very helpful. They provided a Nespresso machine, don't forget to bring your own capsules (They charge $2 for the capsules).

β β β β β Very clean and well maintained motel with large spa bath. Wine and beer offered on check-in by friendly hosts. Wide range of free toiletries, lots of towels, high water pressure in shower, effective heat pump and big screen tv with SKY.
No wonder it usually has the 'no vacancy' sign up.

β β β β β Just saying thank you to the host's as we turned up late (8.30pm)due to prior obligation's and honestly they couldn't have done enough for us just awesome. Pointed out dinner options before places closed and went out of there way for breakfast as we were leaving at 7.30am and there kitchen wasn't opening till 8am but had breakfast ready for us at 7am.
Would stay again, room just spotless well done and hope to see you again, next time for personal travel and not rushed. Loved your hospitality and highly recommend this complex. Daughter really did like the Spa bath ?????. Just friendly and helpful, just great service all round.
