★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just dropped in for a drink and nibbles, loved everything! Had the karaage chicken, super crunchy covered in cornflakes, the takoyaki were delicious, and the eggplant salad was the best thing of the lot. Would come again in a heartbeat

Server I believe was also the owner and she was very sweet and thoughtful, not overly familiar but whenever I look at her, she could almost sense it, and looks my way! How awesome. All I needed was that sweet smile behind her face mask, and all was well again :) My 6 yo daughter enjoyed last night, and my partner will now frequent another Japanese place, finally. Only request-- Please add chips to the menu for my Kiwi and his boys? See you soon xx

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s all pretty ok.. I tell you what, though - tuna is one fish that won’t lie when it’s not a good quality. The sashimi was mostly average like something from St Pierre’s or something but the tuna was especially lacking, it just tasted like water.
The karaage chicken wasn’t anything like what you’d get in Japan either.
Otherwise I found it all acceptable and since we got the big boat platter thing it was pretty good value.
