★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to put $30 in as i had a voucher for that amount only. Was filling it fine until i was offered help in finishing it off went inside to wait. I then was charged $65 dollars for filling my tank without my consent. Even though i clearly pressed $30 at the start.
0 help from staff and left digging into my bill money to pay for Z's mistake

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been here several times and each time ZPSS has been consistently excellent, providing prompt, efficient service courteously. If you need a hand with topping up gas, oil, etc. staff will cheerfully volunteer to help you out, accompanied by oodles of goodwill.
Similar to other Z stations, they offer a 0.10c discount per litre on at least one day each week (0.06c otherwise, to members) and other perks, similar to other "club" loyalty schemes so you can accumulate / cash-in and optimise your fuel savings each month.
ZPSS is conveniently located opposite the Petone Railway Station, close to many major businesses such as Bunnings, Briscoes, etc. It is the last gas station between Petone and Thorndon so you may wish to fill up here if your tank is low, before taking off on SH2.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you drive a motorhome don't use the diesel pumps at the back of the station unless you have dedicated fuel card - they don't work for ordinary customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have very friendly staff there. Also make good coffee they also have very good selection of pies if you are meat eater. But there section of vegetarians pies is not so good. They used to have a lot. But they cut back on them . If you could add more of a section it would be great. Also have good selection of cakes and sandwiches.
