Lucky someone or me doesn't report - could get BIG fine. No salt on chips, but the other food was good

Prices are good but you get what you pay for. Cheeseburger patty was obviously store bought but the chips were really good.

Service is pretty bad:
The table is not cleaned until I wait for about 10 minutes
Knife and fork is not serviced I have to pick it myself.
I have to pick up bottle water by myself as well.
The price is pretty reasonable though

My mates had finshed eating and my meal was still not out and i went in to ask if i could have it takeaway only to find they didn't even start making my meal ! If there was a zero star i would be giving that. Very poor communication!
Would not recommed it to my family or friends.
Ps it wasn't that busy when we ordered. Ordered tea with my meal they forgot to give that and i had enough of there s... so walk out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid!! Almost 1 hour we sat outside with our small children waiting for our dinner. When I asked how much longer they said they hadn’t even started cooking it!
You would expect any decent cafe would bring out the drinks or at least a jug of water and let us know theres a delay. And I seen someone come in after us and get served first. What a shocker!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Cafe directly opposite the Rail Terminus. Quality food, clean and friendly service. Second visit in as many years and pleased to see the standard has even lifted from an already acceptable level. Loved the sandwiches and smoothies and wouldn't mind coming back to try the flounder dish.
