★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a very disturbing incident with one of their door-to-door sales agent. He kept cutting me off, didn't attempt to understand my needs for the services this company was providing, and made racist remakes at me as he was leaving. This really angered me and shocked me. I hope he hasn't been going around and disturbing my neighbourhood going door to door WITHOUT a mask on and making racial comments and saying inappropriate comments. If a man like this represents this insurance company, I don't know if I would consider doing business with them and would not recommend them to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was visited by a door-to-door representative from this insurance group who, quite honestly, conducted himself very poorly. He first began by inappropriately peeking through the door to disrupt my task at hand, but fair enough, it was understandable since I was entirely unaware he was at my door. He started the conversation lightly by saying what company he's from and for me to excuse his Brazilian accent. I had no trouble understanding him. So far so good.
He then went about asking some questions which I was generally ok with except for the fact that so many of them were completely unrelated to the topic. I was rushed to get back to work and he must have had a ton of other houses to visit, so I thought I would do us both a favour and save time by asking that there is no need for all the ice-breaker talk and that he can cut to the chase with this for the both of us. However, he would aggressively parry the request and continue the small talk. I had to ask him 3 times to simply state his offer but he would just dismiss what I'm saying and resumed to ask more unrelated questions.
His attitude throughout the entire interaction was very unpleasant, and at this point I had had enough. He wasn't at all listening and was just wasting my time with unnecessary questions. I decided to turn him back and we were parting ways. But just as he was walking off my property, he thought he would call out a sour comment about how I'm giving a bad impression on my ethnicity?! He had been the one acting like a nuisance. How dare he say such a thing. It's almost as if this man had only asked about my race so he could use the information against me.
Overall a terrible experience. It surely ruined my day. Funnily enough, I still don't know what he came to offer. Not only was this Brazilian man uncommunicative and aggressive, he's horrible at his job.
