★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zippy is always my go to place in Rotorua. It has a nice atmosphere, is warm in the winter and the food is good. The coffee has gone down a bit in my last few visits. It used to be great, now it's too bitter, and the presentation is really lacking. However, I dare say most people are used to bad coffee and won't notice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good pancakes, nice and fluffy and not dry at all. Fast and friendly service. Was going to take a point off because the outdoor sitting in front of the shop wasn't very nice but they seem to have a really nice outdoor area out the back that we just didn't see.

I had a great NYE omg , im glad it was a quiet street that Old Zippy be located on. I ❣ it. I will be back. hasta la vista baby

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had an amazing lunch and would highly recommend Zippy. Love the ambiance and food. Such a great place, fantastic service and local which is such a bonus. Coffee was fabulous and the Mac & Cheese was to die for :).
