1154 is a fast, fresh, house made pasta & organic wine restaurant set in a modern, lively Cuba street eatery. Our aim is to source the best ingredients we can to make the best possible version of classic pasta dishes you already know & love. From scratch. Our fresh pasta is made daily in-house using free range eggs & NZ Semolina.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent pasta meals freshly prepared on location in Cuba St, Wellington. Serve sizes were just right and the food itself was delicious, the sauce was perfectly balanced. The service was super friendly and helpful. Prices were great, $22 for my fettuccini plus extra mushrooms. The venue itself is spacious with a mix of art deco and modern design. I really can't fault them at all, a completely satisfying experience. Highly recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1154 really nails a warm and communal vibe that sets you in the right mood for enjoying their smooth selection of drinks and delicious line up of pasta.
I tried the Lamb Ragu with a bread roll on the side. Both were delicious and very filling.
The staff were friendly, though not always the most attentive but it was a very busy night so I think they did great!
The only real downside was that the starter bread and drinks took quite a while to arrive at the table, which made the wait for the main (which came shortly after) all the longer.
I’m sure it was just because it was a busy night, because everything else was great otherwise!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There was maybe 7 ravioli, tiny box and then it was only half full. $19.00. We were all in shock... This was not value for money. It tasted good but definitely no where near meal size... Maybe entree... Very disappointing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Could be very busy during dinner time. I really loved the pasta here! Smell so nice and taste so good. Portion is decent. A bit pricey but worth the money. Quick service and friendly staff. I’m in love with the fusilli pesto (but if only the presentation was a bit different rather than rocket all over the pasta), but it did taste so yummy! If you get the long table then you might as well have to share space with others. definitely will come back again

Lily's a gem! Give that one a raise. She recommended the fettuccine with chicken and it was freaking amazing ??? I'll be back for sure to try some more dishes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was really nice and they had a nice lunch deal with good wine for $6. However, the ambiance wasn't that good, the music was more like a pub music and being a chilli day it wasn't really cosy inside. Some points to improve ?

Ordered the fettucine carbonara but changed the bacon with mushroom. The sauce was so creamy and tasty! Love it! Other choices are also worth a try.
It is located in Cuba and sometimes parking can be a bit tricky. But you can always find a spot.
It’s also disability friendly in terms of accessibility.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious! Best pasta I have tasted! The actual restaurant is a bit smaller and as it is a shared dining space they do not book out tables. We went there before 5 and the vibe was good and chill until mkfe ppl came in but I suppose you can't do anything about that. Nice front open kitchen so you can watch the chefs. Good array of pasta on the menu. Overall would recommend for lunch and for a quick bite. If you are wanting to spend an evening for wining and dining it probably isn't the best spot for that just due to its shared dining capacity. Definitely the place to go for a quick bite though. We ended up getting takeaway which was beautiful but they don't offer paper cutlery so make sure u take your own culterly if you are going to get takeaway.
