★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Loretta last night for dinner. Good atmosphere and the service was good too. We ordered their special- chicken schnitzel, when it arrived we saw raw chicken in the middle of the schnitzel. The front of house staff took it away to the kitchen and where they had chopped our original schnitzel into a few pieces and refried it. The wait staff were apologetic but upon paying no discount or compensation was given to our table about the raw chicken. Overall the rest of the food was nice and the wait staff were friendly and attentive, but disappointing that nothing except an apology was done about the raw chicken especially at Loretta’s prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The menu possibly changes every day. Interesting but good combinations.
The staff are knowledgeable about the ingredients if you have allergies (or know who to ask). I had to ask for no garlic so it's important they understand it hides in everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed a wonderful meal last Wednesday evening, with two mains and a shared salad between us. All our food was delicious, the staff were attentive without being intrusive and after trying to get a table a number of times, we were delighted we had persevered and highly recommend Loretta! Keep up the great work.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The courgette omelette was amazing. Fluffy, with the feta and watercress and salmon and shaved courgette having all these contrasting flavours...massive serving. Service was courteous, good knowledge about wine too. All the food my friends had looked appetizing too, will definitely be back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food, and a fantastic indoor space. Always busy, but lots of tables means there's always space. The fresh pizzas are excellent, and just different enough to intrigue, while remaining thoroughly comforting and delicious.
Their rye bread with lox and horseradish is an standout for brunch in welly. Try it with an added egg :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place. Great staff. Nice location. We go here for brunch. Food is a bit fancier than what I would go for but my wife loves it. The first time I went there wasn't much on the menu for me (salads etc -- I'm a fussy and basic boy) but last time they added a bunch of yummy things for someone like me to choose from (waffles, eggs Florentine etc).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really comfortable place to be. Good coffee but as a clean freak like me I cannot tolerates staff that doesn't wear mask while working. They weren't eating or so they just don't wear their mask properly. Otherwise food is really good and yummy

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came because I’ve heard great things about their waffles. Our whole table ordered it and added bacon on top. Honestly we just didn’t get it. The first bite was alright but it went downhill from there. The waffle gets soggy and extremely sour from the pool of Manuka honey and lemon syrup. I love bacon with waffles but here it just didn’t mesh together with the sourness. Waffle itself didn’t taste like much.
Also extremely overpriced for what it was. With the bacon add on it came to $26 which is on the higher side for a plate of waffles..
It may have just been an off day for the kitchen as I know their waffles are known to be top tier. We may have been better ordering a range of dishes from their menu.
